Our Classical Romanesque and Late Gothic vault dates back to the 11th century. A team of prominent architects has turned this place into a prime restaurant. The architects approached the space solution with great sensitivity and perceptiveness for detail and have therefore achieved a harmonious accord between the Late Romanesque architecture and the modern, but functional, solution of the premises. Their work was accordingly rewarded in 1994 with an International Interior Prize. The 8th century Early Romanesque wine cellar that has been tastefully adapted into a sanctuary for wine experts is the pride of our restaurant.

Chairs upholstered with the finest English velvet, Venetian stucco combined with thousand-year-old stone ceilings, art statues by renowned Czech masters, black and rose South African granite floors, Rosentathal china and Vileroy and Boch china, handmade blown glass from renowned producers such as Riedel and Spiegelau, silver cutlery from WMF and side furniture made of cherry wood. Those are the details that impart to Restaurant Flambée its style and elegance.

Underneath a vault that is almost 12 centuries old, you can take your time in choosing from our extraordinary wine selection from various wine regions worldwide including the best vintage years of this and the previous century. The almost ideal humidity and temperature in the cellars provide excellent conditions for storing the most precious wines and champagnes. You can single out a choice for the night from a varied selection of champagne, a complete collection of Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Mouton Rothschild or a famous Romaine Conti. When ordering your drinks, you will always be assisted by an experienced sommeliér, who shall help you make the right choice. The wine cellar occupies about 30% of the restaurant's premises and there are about 600 types of wine in our renowned wine selection.

Small private parties with the highest-quality culinary service and an exquisite experience from a first-class dish have grown extremely popular in the last two years. This is why there is such a large and ever-growing demand for private dinners at Flambée. For private parties of up to 20 people, we offer Café Flambée. Due to space limitations and in order to secure high-quality service, the maximum number of guests is limited to 20.
