Chateau Mcely is situated in the rural area of the St George Forest in the north-eastern part of Central Bohemia. It is an hour drive from Prague's Old Town or half an hour from the edge of Prague. Of course we can arrange transport directly from the airport. The nearest large towns are Nymburk, Mlada Boleslav and Podebrady. The whole region is part of "the Golden Belt of Polabi". Polabi itself is the area around the Labe (aka Elbe) river and extends to Hamburg in Germany.
