The church is Gothic from the outside and Baroque from the inside. St. Jilji Catholic church is located between the Charles' Bridge and Old Town Square, in the heart of Prague. Tucked away in narrow streets and alleyways, St. Jilji houses immaculately detailed statues guarding the Renaissance era paintings lining the walls and ceiling. The church's alter is absolutely breathtaking, adorned with gold relics and centred around the unforgettable image of the crucifixion. The ceremony is performed by a warm and inviting English speaking Catholic priest. Please note that divorcees can not remarry in a Catholic Church.
